Welcome to our Gallery of motorbikes, scooters and special projects that have passed through our shop (well, with one obvious exception, below) over the years. If you are a customer of Raceway Services and would like to show yours here, send us a favorite picture or two, along with your name, city and state, and we'll be honored to add it to our Gallery (send email to Racewayservices@cs.com).

2006 Ural Gear-Up

Mike M. Paull

Kenmore, WA

A specially modified Gear-Up! So far, this rig has run flawlessly, and has even made a run down into the Barranco del Cobre (Copper Canyon), in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Special modifications made by Raceway Services include a set of custom upswept muffles, hand-operated tank-shifter and reversing lever, hill-holder parking brake, and strengthened 2WD actuation rod.  The owner has mounted a set of Pelican cases up front, a set of auxiliary fuel cannisters in the rear, and a luggage rack on the nose. In addition, two Euro-style auxiliary power outlets have been added to the left-hand side cover (one wired to a heat-controller for an electric jacket liner), and a Garmin GPSMAP 376C GPS receiver is mounted on the handlebars.

2005 Ural Gear-Up

Dave Hooker (aka "Mr. Cob")

Granite Falls, WA

Dave Hooker shows the proper "We don't need no stinkin' parking brake" technique for parking a Gear-Up in the sands around Nuevo Casa Grandes in Chihuahua, Mexico. At this point, all he needs to do is put his rig into 2WD and reverse, spin up the motor, and dump the clutch. Try THAT with another other dual-purpose machine!
